PURPOSE:To prevent the displacement of upper and lower heads and to position them with high accuracy by providing the clamp arm interposing the vicinity of the head at the lower side of the lower side base. CONSTITUTION:The rib 45 formed on the lower face of a base 12 for preventing the deformation of the lower side base 12 especially at the fastening time is made to be interposed by a clamp arm 46 and receiver 47. Due to the position to be clamped by the arm 46 being in the vicinity of the position where the lower side base 14 is mounted, the position of a magnetic head 14 can correctly be held. Moreover due to the rib 45 being made to be interposed by the arm 46 and receiver 47, the lower side base 12 is not deformed even if the base 12 is formed with the resin of the material having weak strength of a glass epoxy resin, etc. and the high accuracy can be guaranteed.
