PURPOSE:To superconductor consisting of >=1 element selected from Sc, Y, and lanthanoid element and a compd. contg. F and O, having high critical temp. and critical magnetic field, and being useful for a superconductive device using liquid H2, etc. CONSTITUTION:A pulverized mixture of 1mol. Nd2O3, etc. and 2mol. SmF3, etc. is calcined at about 1,000 deg.C for 3-4hr in gaseous Ar atmosphere. Thus, a superconductor (e.g. Sm6Nd6F18O9) comprising a sintered body having a compsn. expressed by the formula (wherein each A and B is an Sc, Y or a lanthanoid element, A and B may be a same element; n is 1-10; b is 1-10; c is 2-30; d is 2-30) is prepd. |
