PURPOSE:To shorten a sensor interval, and to improve spatial resolution and to facilitate maintenance by separating wire sensors by two groups, wiring them in a single direction, and installing them closely. CONSTITUTION:A monitor 1 for lateral distribution measurement and a monitor 2 for longitudinal distribution measurement are provided closely to each other. Wire sensors 4a of the monitor 1 are stuck on an insulating frame 3a so as to measure a lateral distribution and wire sensors 4b of the monitor 2 are stuck on an insulating frame 3b so as to measure a longitudinal distribution. The wire sensors 4a and 4b are stuck closely and lateral and longitudinal signal lead-out wires 5 and 6 are provided. Then a charged particle group which is incident as shown by an arrow 7 has its lateral distribution measured by the front-stage monitor 1 first and its longitudinal distribution measured by the rear-stage monitor 2.
