A method is described for producing clock collages or parts thereof. In the method, a technical film is produced from the clock parts forming the collage. A metal sheet is coated with a suitable resist, and the film is copied onto the resist. The resist is developed, and the metal sheet is correspondingly etched. This produces a clock collage etched out of the metal sheet. The method has the advantage that once a suitable motif has been composed a multiplicity of images thereof can be produced.
