PURPOSE:To obtain an accurate engine condition correcting information by prohibiting the execution of a memory processing step for storing a value which is obtained based on an air-fuel ratio signal into a nonvolatile memory as an engine condition correcting information for a prescribed time after giving a supercharger on command. CONSTITUTION:In an ECU 24 into which the output signals of an air flow sensor 7, an engine speed sensor 19a, an intake air temperature sensor 20, a water temperature sensor 22, etc., are inputted at the time of operating an engine 1, an air-fuel ratio signal from an air-fuel ratio sensor 23 is integrally processed and stored in a memory. Then, by judging whether it is immediately after a supercharger 9 is on or not, i.e., immediately after a magnetic clutch 10 is on or not and, when judged no, a stored information processing step for storing a value corresponding to an information obtained by the integral processing by making the value suited to the engine condition at the processing time, into a nonvolatile memory as an engine condition correcting information is executed. On the other hand, when it is within a prescribed time immediately after the magnetic clutch 10 is on, this stored information processing step is not executed.
