PURPOSE:To prepare superior conductivity and heat-resistance by heat treating at a sepcified temperature and a specified number of times after molding a thermoplastic resin composition containing a specific quantity of carbon fibers with metallization. CONSTITUTION:As a metal to cover carbon fibers, nickel is preferably used. As carbon fibers, acrylonitrile group or pitch groups is preferably used. It is important to fix the blending quantity of carbon fibers with metallization as 5-40 weight %, preferably 10-35 weight %. As the thermoplastic resin, polyamide, polyester, polycarbonate or polyphenylene sulfide is used. As the injection molding thermoplastic resin of carbon fibers with metallization, heat treatment is carried out at 80 deg.C or higher, and particularly 100 deg.C or higher is suitable. The number of heat treatments is two or more, preferably three or more. One cycle of heat treatment time is normally one minute or more, preferably three minutes or more.
