A pressure sensor is specified for monitoring the minimum pressure of a gaseous medium, which pressure sensor is preferably used as a tyre monitor. It contains a metal bellows (1) which separate the medium to be monitored from a reference gas volume, the cover (2, 3) of the metal bellows together with a mating contact (6) which is arranged in an insulated manner, forming a contact path. The pressure sensor is distinguished by simple construction and insensitivity to external influences. <IMAGE>
