The invention relates to a supply line made from two symmetric plies of conductors, held up by a row of poles. In order to avoid the problems of electrical arc formation and appearance of resonance phenomena, the conductors 1 are made from tubes of large diameter, for example 70 mm, and the distance D between the poles P1, P2, P3 is chosen less than a half-wavelength corresponding to the highest of the working frequencies of the line. The tubes making up the conductors being rigid owing to their diameter are cut into stretches equal to the separation between the poles and are held end-to-end in fixing devices 2, 2', 3 associated with the poles; one in two 2, 2' of these devices holds the conductors rigidly, the others 3 simply provide transverse holding, making it possible to compensate for possible expansion through a vertical displacement. Application to the supply to transmission antennas. <IMAGE>
