POLYESTER RESIN COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition having high rate of alkali thinning and excellent adhesivity to plated metal film, by compounding a specific polybutylene terephthalate resin with a polycarbonate resin and a filler. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is produced by compounding (A) 100pts.wt. of a polyester resin containing butylene terephthalate unit constituting >=80mol.% of main chain and copolymerized with 0.5-10mol% sulfoisophthalic acid metal salt with (B) 10-100pts.wt. of an aromatic polycarbonate and (C) 5-100pts.wt. of a metal silicate and/or metal carbonate. The sulfoisophthalic acid metal salt is sodium salt and the copolymerized amount of the salt is 1-5mol.%. The metal silicate is e.g. aluminum silicate.
