Compressing member for loading trucks for stalk and leaf fodder, with a rotating drum, is provided, within this drum, with a stationary shaft which is offset in parallel eccentrically to the mid-axis and on which are supported the pressing tines mounted on the outer circumference of the drum. As a result, a leading movement of the curved bearing faces of the pressing tines is achieved when the pressing tines penetrate into the pressing channel and a trailing movement thereof is achieved when they are pulled out. <IMAGE>
