PURPOSE:To dissolve the irregularity in heating distribution on objects to be heated by a method wherein the upper surface of a burner cap is closed and a few small flame parts are formed and introducing grooves for secondary air are formed at the part at least lower than the upper edge of main flame ports and inner flame ports are also formed in the grooves. CONSTITUTION:At the peripheral edge of the upper surface 15 of a burner cap 14 a number of tooth-shaped parts 16 are formed and main flame ports 17 are formed between the tooth-shaped grooves and the upper surface of a burner head 13 and small gaps between the tooth-shaped parts and the upper surface of the head 13 are placed to form small flame parts as small flame ports 18. Introducing grooves 19 for secondary air are cut and formed at the parts 18 and their inlet parts 19 are located at the lower parts than the upper edges of the ports 17 to make the inflow of the secondary air easier. Inner flame ports 20 formed in the grooves 19 are located at the higher parts than the bottoms of the grooves 19. Fuel and premixed air are supplied to a mixing tube 12 and mixed and then supplied from the head 13 to the cap 14 and ejected and burnt from the ports 17, the ports 18 as a part of the ports 17, and the ports 20.
