PURPOSE:To prevent from the open end of a lens holding frame consisting of a titanium material from opening largely when said frame is opened by subjecting the lens holding frame to molding to a prescribed shape, then to a heating treatment at 400-600 deg.C. CONSTITUTION:The lens holding frame 1 provided with an openable locking part 5 in a part is formed of the titanium material. The lens holding frame 1 is subjected to the molding to the prescribed shape, then to the heating treatment at 400-600 deg.C. The open distance of the part 5 can be easily decreased at the time of partly opening the lens holding frame 1 by subjecting the lens holding frame 1 to the heating treatment in the production stage thereof, by which the trouble-free operation of the lens is enabled.
