PURPOSE:To easily generate and change picture data by generating picture data by an image reading means. CONSTITUTION:Image reading means 14 and 23 which read the image of a picture to generate picture data, a writing means which writes picture data from these image reading means in a memory 30, and printing means 22, 3, and 4 which read out picture data from the memory 30 and print a picture on a label based on read picture data are provided. Consequently, the image pattern read by image reading means is converted to picture data as it is and is stored in the memory. Thus, generation and change of picture data are very facilitated.
