The field of the invention relates to a desk inclining device. The object of the invention is to produce an inclining device which is easy and quick to manipulate, and which makes it possible to obtain varied inclinations of the keyboard. This object is achieved with the aid of a typewriter-keyboard inclining device having a top, an underside 2, two lateral ends 3, and two front and rear longitudinal sides 4AR, characterised in that it has two arms 40 articulated about a rotation axis parallel to the longitudinal sides 4AR and capable of bearing on steps 61-65 arranged in helix configurations with respect to the said rotation axis; the said arm 40 being provided with a member 33 for returning it towards the inside of the keyboard; the said steps being made in a lateral hollowing of the keyboard. This device applies specifically to typewriter keyboards. <IMAGE>
