PURPOSE:To enable a fluid pressure to be measured from low to high pressure regions with a high accuracy by a single instrument by detecting a magnetic flux density produced in a coil member surrounding a magnetic core integrally connected to a pressure receiving portion. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic circuit is formed by electromagnetically coupling a magnetic core member 1 and a coil member 3 surrounding it with each other. A fluid pressure receiving portion 11 is provided in connection to the core member 1. Assume the fluid pressure receiving area of the pressure receiving portion 11 is A and the pressure of a fluid flowing in a pipe line is P, then a force F received by the pressure receiving portion 11 is represented by F=A.P. Since the area A is constant, the fluid pressure P is determined by the quadratic function of the magnetic flux density B of a magnetic field generated by the coil member 3. Thus, changes in integration signals and in the fluid pressure P can be maintained in a proportional relationship by detecting the magnetic flux density B by a detection sensor 4 and integrating output signals B corresponding to the magnetic flux density B. Thus, the integration signal can be used as the detection signal of the fluid pressure P.
