PURPOSE:To obtain an instrument capable of reproducing a change in a power supply voltage depending on the operating condition of an engine key and approximating a voltage drop due to a load by enabling voltage changes in the various portions of an automobile power supply due to the operation of the engine key to be simply and easily reproduced on a test bench or the like. CONSTITUTION:The voltages of the power supplies of a BU (backup), an ACC (accessory) and a DIM (dimmer) are enabled to be controlled by using the same engine key cylinder unit 12 as the one mounted to an automobile. A power supply circuit 14 is provided with the controller of an output voltage and a voltage supply display 16 is provided with conductors for electrifying the BU, ACC and DIM and a voltmeter for indicating the voltage of the power supply of the BU. Thus, a voltage change and a waveform similar to those of an automobile power supply line can be reproduced on a test bench or the like. Further, since the power supply voltages of the ACC, BU and DIM in LOCK, ACC, ON and START positions are generated by using an engine key 10, an operation can be conducted with the same procedure as that required for driving the automobile and a quick or slow changeover speed among above-mentioned positions can be simply and easily reproduced.
