PURPOSE:To improve manufacturing efficiency, by a method wherein, in a method of manufacturing a rubber-covered roller for a conveyance belt conveyor for earth, unvulcanized or a vulcanized beltform resilient rubber with a given thickness is integrally helically wound under tension around the outer peripheral surface of a roller core on which an adhesive is applied. CONSTITUTION:After an adhesive 12 is applied on a roller core 11, unvulcanized beltform resilient rubber 13 is tightly helically wound under tension around the peripheral surface of the roller core. The rubber is then vulcanized. This constitution simplifies a process, and improves material yield. Further, production is practicable by a continuous assembly-line system with high efficiency. |
