PURPOSE:To construct a lateral sliding structure of a reaping pretreatment mechanism with a simple structure, by slidably supporting a sliding shaft to a supporting case attached to a tip of a main frame extended along the longitudinal direction of the machine and integrally attaching a reaping pretreatment mechanism to the sliding shaft in a laterally slidable manner. CONSTITUTION:A sliding shaft 18 extended along the lateral direction of a mechanism is supported with a bearing on an attaching part of a main frame 12 of a tip-supporting case 16 in a manner slidable in its own axial direction X. A passive bevel gear 19 is fixed to the middle part of the shaft and a driving bevel gear 20 is fixed at an end of a main frame transmission shaft 14. A 1st sliding frame 23 is pivoted to a tip-supporting case 16 at the front side of the sliding shaft 18 in a laterally slidable manner and a 2nd sliding frame 26 is supported at the front side of the sliding frame 23 in a manner freely slidable relative to a holder 27 in lateral direction.
