A hydrostatic drive system consists of an adjustable primary unit and an adjustable secondary unit which are connected to one another via a conduit with an applied pressure. The volume flow of the primary unit is controlled speed-dependently as a function of the applied pressure and the volume flow of the secondary unit. In order to avoid an excessive fall in the applied pressure, the power of the secondary unit is limited. Provided for this purpose is a circuit in which the volume flows of the primary and secondary unit are compared. Power limitation takes effect when the volume flow of the secondary unit exceeds the volume flow of the primary unit. |
