The invention relates to a label holder affording the user of computer disks a marking or labelling with no risk of damage to the disks whilst providing for their easy insertion into the diskette reader and proper operation of the latter, as well as excellent legibility of the label and excellent aesthetic presentation. It consists of a single transparent plane surface 6, embossed and prolonged by edges 8 sloping downwards towards the outside. These edges 8 are prolonged by plane edges 9 terminating in a boundary 5 bevelled along substantially the same angle as the sloping edges 8 and serving in the direct fixing of the label holder 1 to the surface 7 of the diskette 2. <IMAGE>
