PURPOSE:To enable correction of dot position which is shifted through speed change of ink drops caused through pulsation of pump, by controlling charge voltage based on a stored ink drop speed and image information of an ink drop being ejected during printing over a single period section of pump. CONSTITUTION:Charging codes being set to correct print distortion corresponding to patterns on preceeding and following drops are stored in a charging code ROM3. When printing is carried out, phase of pump is confirmed based on a clock input fed from a code table selector and an input fed from a pump referential clock generator 8 and a charging code table matching with Vj having corresponding phase is selected. The outputted code is employed as an address input for the charging code ROM3 and assigns a corrected charging code. Then charging is carried out according to the code, thus correcting influence of pulsation. |
