PURPOSE:To constitute the titled device so that a vehicle can reach the destination easily and surely, by displaying an intersection for turning, an intersection which is apt to be mistaken, the present position of the vehicle and a distance to the intersection, in a route extending from a departure point to the destination. CONSTITUTION:When the destination is inputted by an operating means 2 a route to the destination is selected by a route selecting means 3-7, a main intersection on this route is selected by a main intersection selecting means 3-6, a schematic drawing is rotated so that the advance direction of a vehicle becomes right above, by a rotary zoom means 3-4, and also, by a schematic drawing switching means 3-5, the schematic drawing is switched one after another as the vehicle advances and displayed on a display means 4. Also, by a present position detecting means 1, the present position of the vehicle is detected, and a distance to the main intersection, calculated by a distance calculating means 3-1 is displayed on the display means 4.
