PURPOSE:To reduce the size and power consumption of a digital hysteresis circuit by converting the number of address pulses generated in a specific period into a value corresponding to the number of tail addresses of respective words. CONSTITUTION:The digital hysteresis circuit 1 consists of a sequential memory part 11 and an address control part 12 and the memory part 11 consists of a serial input ROM and a shift register and holds M-word temperature compensation data. Further, the address control part 12 consists of an external pulse conversion part 31 which converts an external pulse signal (a) from a temperature sensor part into address pulses (c), a reset signal adjustment part 32, and a hysteresis control part 33. Then when data corresponding to N successive addresses are regarded as one word and a specific word is obtained from the sequential memory part 11 stored with M words, the number of address pulses is converted corresponding to the number of tail addresses of respective words, so a complete word can be outputted.
