PURPOSE:To efficiently execute a balance adjustment and an applied voltage adjustment by providing a position setting jig of a variable resistor of a transformer, on a drum unit, and executing an adjustment and setting of a fitting position on the drum unit of this jig, on a test material. CONSTITUTION:In a drum unit 3, a photosensitive drum 5 is supported so as to be rotatable in about the center part of a frame 10, and in the periphery of this drum 5, a main charger 4 having a wire 4a for giving the potential with regard to the longitudinal direction of the surface of the drum 5 by a discharge action, a developing device 9 of an original image on the surface of the drum 5, and a cleaning device 8 on the surface of the drum 5, etc. are placed. In the inside of a body of a real machine 12 to which the drum unit 3 is inserted from an opening part 12a and installed, a transformer 6 for giving a voltage to the main charge is attached, and the variable resistor 7 of this transformer 6 is protruded and provided on the outside of the real machine. In this state, by moving this volume 7 in the direction as indicated with an arrow 14, the adjustment of an output voltage of the transformer 6 is executed.
