PURPOSE:To change and display the contents of a message as time elapses, by storing not only the message but a time data corresponding to each message, in a memory. CONSTITUTION:A message storage part 24 and a time storage part 25 are provided on a part of a RAM 18 being a memory of a message display part 23, and by a setting part 28 the message contents and the time are set, respectively. Subsequently, the time storage part 25 and a time data of a clock 26 are compared by a comparator 27, and an output signal when they have coincided is transmitted to a display block 21. A commodity name indicator 13 connected to the display block 21 displays the message contents of the message storage part 24 at that time. In such a way, the display part can be utilized effectively in such a way as the contents of a message are varied as time elapses, and also, a message display of the display contents set to a time zone which is set in advance is executed, etc.
