PURPOSE:To improve processing ability and to increase the throughput of data transmission/reception by setting data which needs to be in sequence in a transmission buffer and reading data out of a receiving buffer simultaneously by using plural buffers. CONSTITUTION:A control word where a counted value indicating transmission processing order outputted by a transmission counter 12 is provided on the side of a main storage 100, and buffers 2-1 and 2- where sent data are written are provided. Then when data transfer from the main storage 100 to an input/ output device 200 is performed, the buffer 2 paired with the control word where the same transmission processing order as reception processing order is written is read. Further, when data transfer from the input/output device 200 to the main storage 100 is performed, a buffer paired with said control word is read.
