PURPOSE:To maintain a power efficiency or an output power at a high level over the wide range of the output power or a frequency by controlling an input output tuning circuit so as to always obtain the high power efficiency, the high output power or both of them. CONSTITUTION:A power efficiency detecting device 10 detects a direct current power through a direct current power supplying device 4, detects an output power by an output power detecting device 9 and as the result, detects the power efficiency. Based on the power efficiency detected by the device 10, the output power detected by the device 9 and further, as needed, a frequency detected by a device 12, a tuning control device 6 controls a variable tuning output circuit 5, a variable tuning input circuit 8 or both of them. A control method is a so-called feed-back control or a feed forward control so that the power efficiency, the output power or both of them always can be enlarged as much as possible. Thus, the high power efficiency is obtained.
