PURPOSE:To obtain an electric resistor where its resistance value is stable, while it is inner-packaged at a multilayered substrate after laminating it together with base metal conductor materials and also it can be manufactured by burning in a reducing atmosphere by using burned bodies containing massive particles, needle particles that adhere on the above massive particles or come into existence nearby the above particles as well as a glass layer. CONSTITUTION:Substances consisting of burned bodies containing massive particles (b), needle particles (c) that adhere on the above massive particles (b) or come into existence nearby the above particles (b) as well as a glass layer (a) are used as an electrical resistor. Further, the massive particles (b) containing main body materials of the resistor which make up a main body of the electrical resistor are burned in non-oxidizing atmosphere and reduction of the surface of the massive particles which resulted from the above burning permits a reduced product of the needle particles (c) to adhere to the massive particles (b) or to manufacture the electric resistor through a process which makes the reduced product come into existence nearby the particles (b). The above mentioned massive particles (b) contain, for example, molybdate of more than a sort of alkali earth metals, Zn, Y, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu, Al, Zr, Hf, Nb, Ta, Mn and the like. |
