PURPOSE:To attain effective thermotherapy without generating side effect, by using a composite prepared by bonding a dielectric having dipole moment to a cancerous cell directive substance. CONSTITUTION:A dielectric having dipole moment is a substance inducing dielectric polarization when an electric field is applied and generating heat at the time of dielectric loss and, for example, there is polyethylene glycol. Further, a cancerous cell directive substance is one not bonding a normal cell but selectively bonding only a cancerous cell and, for example, there is the polyclonal antibody to a cancerous surface antigen. A composite is obtained by bonding the dielectric having the above-mentioned dipole moment to the cancerous cell directional substance. For medical treatment, the composite is administered to the affected part at fist. The above-mentioned composite is locally present and accumulated in a cancerous tissue area usually about 30min-2hr after administration and the said area is irradiated with a high frequency wave. By this method, the generation of heat due to dielectric loss is generated and only cancerous tissue is heated. Substratum cancer can be treated selectively and effectively.
