PURPOSE:To easily measure an IgM antibody by determining a difference in titer between an agglutination reaction and reaction using a dilute liquid contg. an anti-IgM antibody as an IgM antibody value. CONSTITUTION:A dilute liquid for TPHA is put into one of two test tubes and a dilute liquid for TPHA contg. a diluted monochronal antibody is put into the other. The specimen to be examined is added to each liquid and is intimately mixed. The liquid is then incubated for 30min at 37 deg.C and is thereafter subjected to a centrifugal sepn. The supernatant liquid is transferred to a microplate and the antibody titer is measured by a microtiter method.
