PURPOSE:To greatly reduce the labor of programming for a numerical control device having a fixed cycle for thread-cutting by use of a tap, by delivering instructions for all steps of center-punching, drilling of a prepared hole and tapping with the use of only one fixed cycle G code. CONSTITUTION:When a program reading means (a) reads a fixed cycle G code, data programmed together with the G code are stored in a first memory means (b), and then, data of positioned positions designated by the program are successively stored in a second memory means (c), subsequent to the G code. Then, a center punching control means (d) reads data from the memory means (b), and carries out center-punching for every positioned position stored in the memory means (c). Then, a prepared hole control means (e) reads data from the memory means (b) and forms a prepared hole at every positioned position stored in the memory means (c). Further, a tapping control means (f) reads data from the memory means (d), and carries out tapping at every position stored in the memory means (c).
