<p>A moving walkway which has a main support belt (50) having a secondary support belt (51) which lies thereover over most of the run of the main support belt but extends therebeyond at each end thereof to terminate closely adjacent a further support belt (20) with means (10) between the secondary support belt and the further support belt over which a passenger can pass whilst being propelled forwardly by either the secondary support belt (51) or the further support belt (20).
