PURPOSE:To obtain a cyan dye image-forming coupler superior in color reproduction performance and decreased in side absorption in the blue wavelength region by processing a silver halide color photographic sensitive material containing a specified kind of coupler with a developing solution containing an N,N-dialkyl- p-phenylenediamine type color developing agent. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide color photographic sensitive material contains one of the couplers represented by formula I in which A is a substituted amino group; R is an optionally saturated aliphatic or aryl group or the like; J is a group of formula II or the like; Z is H, halogen, or the like; and R is a halogenated alkyl group or the like. This material is processed with the developing solution containing the N,N-dialkyl-p-phenylenediamine type color developing agent, thus permitting the obtained cyan dye image-forming coupler to be superior in color developing performance and decreased in side absorption in the blue wavelength region even when it is processed in the processing step with the bleaching solution weak in oxidizing power or fatigued by successive uses. |
