PURPOSE:To prevent a delayed rising of potential by electrostatic charge due to repeated use by incorporating a polyalkylene glycol ester into an electric charge transferring layer. CONSTITUTION:An electric charge generating layer 13 and an electric charge transferring layer 14 are laminated on an electrically conductive substrate 11. The layer 14 is composed of an electric charge transferring substance such as a compd. represented by the formula, a resin binder such as polycarbonate and a polyalkylene glycol ester such as polyethylene glycol monocarboxylic ester. A disazo or trisazo pigment may be used as an electric charge generating substance in the layer 13. An intermediate layer may be interposed between the substrate 11 and the layer 13 and the order of the layers 13, 14 may be reversed. Thus, a sensitive body having high sensitivity and hardly undergoing deterioration in the electrostatic charge characteristics due to repeated use is obtd. |
