PURPOSE:To prevent a delayed rising of potential by electrostatic charge due to repeated use by incorporating a specified (co)polymer into an electric charge transferring layer. CONSTITUTION:An electric charge generating layer contg. an azo pigment and an electric charge transferring layer (A) are laminated on an electrically conductive substrate. The layer A is composed of an electric charge transferring substance such as a compd. represented by formula I, a resin binder such as polycarbonate and a (co)polymer (B) having structural units of a monomer represented by formula II (where R1 is H or methyl, R2 is H, lower alkyl or the like and n=2-100). The component B may be prepd. by copolymerizing a monomer represented by formula III with benzyl methacrylate and N,N- dimethylacrylamide. Since the component B is used, a sensitive body having high sensitivity and hardly undergoing deterioration in the electrostatic charge characteristics is obtd. |
