PURPOSE:To easily connect a camera head and to spread the video observation of an object to be observed by providing a fitting means with a means to be coupled with respective lens barrels having different fitting size. CONSTITUTION:The camera head is fitted to the lens barrels 12, 13 of a microscope 11 through a camera holder 17. The camera holder 17 can be switched to a lens barrel with different fitting size, e.g. an eyepiece lens barrel 12 and a camera lens barrel 13, by properly replacing and using a mounting part 24A or 24B. Thereby, video observation can be executed also by a microscope having no camera lens barrel 13. Consequently, the camera head 18 can be easily connected to various optical observation devices and the video observation of object to be observed can be spread.
