PURPOSE:To prevent the release of toner to the outside air at the time of feeding toner and to effectively prevent a copying machine body or its periphery from becoming dirty due to scattered toner by providing the titled device with a toner scattering preventing means for opening/closing a toner outlet in cooperation with a copying machine body holding means at the time of toner feeding. CONSTITUTION:The titled device with the toner scattering prevent means for opening/closing the toner outlet 64 in cooperation with the copying machine body holding means at the time of feeding toner 50 to a toner cartridge 60 or toner hopper. When the toner cartridge 60 is pressed down, a flexible tube 13 is shrunk, a pusher is abutted upon a cover 63, the cover 63 is pushed up and the toner outlet 64 is opened, so that the toner 50 in the toner cartridge 60 is fed from toner outlet 64 and led into the toner hopper by the rotation of an auger. Consequently, the toner 50 is not released to the outside air at the time of feeding the toner 50 and the copying machine body of its periphery can be effectively prevented from becoming dirty due to the scattering of the toner 50. |
