PURPOSE:To smoothly move an image with a simple circuit by connecting a trimmer capacitor in parallel with the resistance of an integrating circuit of a horizontal AFC circuit. CONSTITUTION:An image horizontal position adjusting circuit is surrounded with a dotted line in the figure, and a trimmer capacitor C6 is turned to reduce the capacity. In this state B, the phase of a saw tooth wave voltage is delayed and the phase of the deflecting current of a horizontal winding L5 of a deflecting coil is delayed also, and a monitoring image is moved right. If the trimmer capacitor C6 is turned to increase the capacity, the phase of the saw tooth wave voltage is advanced and the phase of said deflecting current is advanced, and the monitoring image is moved left. Consequently, the phase of the saw tooth wave voltage is changed by the trimmer capacitor C6. Thus, the phase of the deflecting current is simultaneously changed to adjust the horizontal position of the monitoring image.
