PURPOSE:To set a paper prior to spooling a report file and prevent management of papers on a printer device basis from being restricted, by providing a format- recognizing means, a format-controlling means and a spool-controlling means. CONSTITUTION:When a request for forming a report file is outputted from a first application program 11, format information on the report file 3 is formed by a report file management program 2, and the format information is written into format information tables 41-43 provided for each of printer devices 71-73. Paper setting is performed for the printer devices 71-73, the report format information is set on format-recognizing means 81-83 associated with the printer devices 71-73, and the information is sent to a format-controlling means 5. A spool-controlling means 6 under the control of the format-controlling means 5 determines the report file 3 according to the report format information, and performs spooling for the printer devices 71-73. |
