PURPOSE:To efficiently remove the org. matter in water by adding hydrogen peroxide to the water prior to an anion-exchange resin stage, and projecting UV rays to the water. CONSTITUTION:High molecular org. matter is previously removed by a reverse- osmosis device 1, and a hydrogen peroxide soln. is sent to the permeated water by a pump 3 from a tank 2 and mixed. The water is then introduced into an UV-ray oxidation tank 4, irradiated with UV rays, and oxidized. The effluent water is sent to a treated water tank 5. The oxidized water in the treated water tank 5 is passed through a hydrogen peroxide removing tower 7, and the org. matter is removed. By this method, the org. matter in water can be almost completely removed.
