PURPOSE:To surely and quickly clean the slurry fuel burner without causing damage to the burner by forming a flow of boiling bubbles by rapidly decompressing heated water which is pressurized higher than the saturated vapor pressure, and supplying said boiling bubble flow to the fuel line for the burner for cleaning purpose. CONSTITUTION:A boiler 23, a pressurizing pump 24, a valve 17, a nozzle 18 having a small orifice and a valve 21 are connected through piping, and said combination is connected to a fuel supply pipe 20 to complete a device which generates a flow of boiling bubbles. Heated water 16 having a pressure higher than the saturated vapor pressure is produced by pressurizing the boiler water at saturation temperature by a pressurizing pump 24. The heated water is jetted out of the small diameter nozzle 18 to form the boiling bubble flow 13. Since the boiling double-phased flow is used instead of water, the atomizer will not rapidly cooled. Therefore, a thermal impact will not develop, and ceramic pieces will not be damaged. Because of the collision or rotational movement of the bubbles 14, the high-concentration coal/water slurry fuel stuck to the inner wall can be removed fairly efficiently.
