<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently execute cleaning, temp. control and moisture control of air by electrically charging the dust in the air, bringing the air into contact with water-cooled fine mists to capture the dust and delivering the cleaned air after subjecting the same to temp. and humidity control. CONSTITUTION:The air sent by a blasting means 70 to this air cleaner is subjected to the electrification of the dust in the air by an electric charging part 60 and flows through an air inflow port 12 into a device body 10. Cooling water is then sprayed from a cooling water supplying part 20 at the time when the contaminated air passes a cooling and capturing part 30. The dust in the air is, therefore, captured as an effective air-liquid contact takes place at the time when the air breaks the liquid film extended in the mesh holes of a perforated plate 34. The fine liquid drops formed by the air-liquid contact are transferred to a fine water droplet removing part 40 and are captured. The cleaned air is heated by a reheating means 50 and is adjusted to the prescribed temp. and humidity; thereafter, the air is circulated in a room.</p> |
