PURPOSE:To enable uniform and strong cleaning by ejecting high pressure hot water through a rotary nozzle device while running a robot body and cleaning the lower portion of body, thereafter rotating a plurality of fans and cleaning the body. CONSTITUTION:A robot body L is guided through guide rollers 22 and wheels 19 along a guide rail and enters below a vehicle lifted by a lift, and ejects high pressure hot water from a swivel joint 14 through a high pressure solenoid valve 15, a high pressure rotary joint 12, a hollow rotary shaft 1, a rotating arm pipe 2 and a nozzles 3 upwardly so as to clean a body. At the same time, a group of fans 9, 10 are driven through a motor 11 to feed the air upward so as to promote cleaning, and drying is carried out upon finish of cleaning work. Limit switches 20, 21 functions at the end of going path to rotate a motor 17 reversely so as to retreat the robot body L. Consequently, the lower portion of an automobile can be cleaned uniformly and strongly, and dried in early stage after cleaning.
