PURPOSE:To eliminate a special transferring device by providing a vertically movable supporting member for supporting a container and a container loading/ unloading device adapted to push and pull the container with respect to the supporting member in loading and unloading the container between a table and a carrier vehicle. CONSTITUTION:In a production line of a sewing shop, a plurality of sewing machine tables or the like are arranged in series, and a long table is arranged on a side of the sewing machine tables along the arrangement thereof. Further, an unmanned carried vehicle 8 adapted to travel on a rail 9 is located on a side of the table opposite to the sewing machine table. The unmanned carrier vehicle 8 is provided with two container loading/unloading devices 14. Each of the container loading/unloading devices 14 is vertically movable by a lifting member 20 slidable along a linear guide 19 by rotating a screw rod 26 by means of a motor. Further, each container loading/unloading device 14 is provided with an operating plate 59 adapted to reciprocate in a direction perpendicular to a travelling direction of the unmanned carrier vehicle and having an electromagnet for attracting a container on a front surface thereof fixed thereto, so that the container may be loaded and unloaded.
