PURPOSE:To increase the serviceableness of a facsimile transmitter, by checking the presence/absence of preferential reservation proir to a line connection processing at the time of performing facsimile transmission, and executing the transmission reserved preferentially in an early stage. CONSTITUTION:In the facsimile transmitter 21, a second storage part 31 which stores preferential reservation information and a control part 32 which controls the operation of a transmission part 26 and a call issuing part 28 based on data read from the storage part 31 are provided. The control part 32 places a call on the storage part 31 before a call re-issuing operation in re-dialing, or a call issuing operation to the next station in sequential multiple address transmission is performed. Thereby, the call re-issuing operation, etc., is stopped transiently by inputting the preferential reservation information, and after the transmission reserved preferentially is executed, sequence is returned to its original sequence, then, the call re-issuing operation, etc., is continued. In such a way, the transmission with high priority is executed in first-transmission, thereby, the serviceableness of the facsimile transmitter can be increased.
