PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which is composed of an agent control ling wood insect pests such as fenitrothione and an intensifier such as piperonyl butoxide, thus being applied to any desired places in extremely shortened work ing time without wood surface staining and danger of fire. CONSTITUTION:The subject composition contains less than 75wt.% of an agent combating wood insect pests such as termites or wood borers such as chlordene, cypermethrin, decamethrin, 7-15wt.% of a preservative such as 4- chlorophenyl-3'-iodopropargyl formal, about the same amount as the controlling agent, of an intensifier such as piperonyl butoxide, N-propyl isome, MGK-264, sinepyrin 222, and preferably 5-20wt.% of an organic solvent such as hexane. The composition is a combination of an insecticide and a preservative and can be readily applied to the places to which conventional agent can be applied with difficulty, in the form of fine particles with aid of liquefied carbon dioxide, thus manifesting increased effect. |
