PURPOSE:To prevent a crack occurring on the side surface of a plate spring by making the plate thickness of the longitudinal center portion the largest and in addition, arranging fiber linearly along the longitudinal direction at the outside surface layer on a side on which tensile stress acts. CONSTITUTION:An FRP plate spring made by cutting off the wide width portion 12 of a semi-finished product 11 which is formed in a body that the core sectional areas of respective longitudinal portions may become fixed by the method of filament winding, has a tapered shape in which the plate thickness of a longitudinal center side is the largest and the thickness of a plate end side gradually decreases. The direction of fiber contained in this plate spring is altogether arranged in parallel with the longitudinal direction with regard to the surface layer and its inside of a tension side TS, and as for a compression side CS, fiber in parallel with the longitudinal direction and fiber which has an oblique direction expanding to the plate end side, are mingled, so the oblique direction fiber which is cut off at the cutting off time of the plate spring is one-sidedly on the compression side CS where the occurrence of a crack is hard to be realized. |
