PURPOSE:To execute defoaming and separating treatments from liquid with relatively small-sized devices by executing the greater part of the above- mentioned treatments with the devices connected in series to a main line. CONSTITUTION:A rotary cylinder provided in a circular pipe is used. A rotor 13 and the rotary cylinder 12 rotate when, for example, a stator 10 is energized. Liquid 30 flowing from a main pipe 1 into the cylinder 12 begins to be gradually rotated by rotation of the cylinder 12 and bubbles 31 in the liquid are gradually gathered at the center and are grown. These bubbles enter a bubble receiver 20 and are introduced together with the liquid around the bubbles into a gas- liquid separator 22 by a self-priming type pump 21 connected to said receiver. The separator 22 is a hermetic vessel and since the gas-liquid mixture introduced therein is already in the state to permit an easy gas-liquid sepn., the gas-liquid sepn. is easily executed in the vessel.
