PURPOSE:To obtain a mounting material for a wall, which is superior in strength, rust prevention and beautiful, effective in decoration and possesses a metallic foil for its base material, by a method wherein a synthetic resin adhesive agent is applied to the surface of a thin metallic foil, a nonflammable short fiber group is set up through an electrostatic anode processing method, tough incombustible paper or nonflammable paper is stuck on the backside of the metallic film through a thin synthetic resin adhesive agent and emboss processing is performed to the whole. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin adhesive agent 2 of vinyl acetate is applied to the surface of a metallic foil 1 of about 0.1-0.035mm in thickness, over which a nonflammable short fiber group 3 is set up 4 through an electrostatic anode processing method. The backside of the metallic foil 1 is formed by adhering tough incombustible paper or nonflammable paper 5 containing aluminum hydroxide on the backside of the metallic foil 1 with a thin synthetic resin adhesive agent 6 based on the vinyl acetate further. Then when the same is put between rotating both pinching and pressing rollers 7, 8 as shown by an arrow (c), an uneven relief of the surface of the roller is pressurized and an uneven pattern is formed through the embossing processing.
