PURPOSE:To prevent failure around a warning switch by forming a switch pad with repulsive force capable of displacing, wherein the switch pad is to change over a warning switch of a stamping type parking brake. CONSTITUTION:A warning switch 70 to inform the engaged or deengaged condition of a parking brake of stamping type has switch body side 71 fixed on a mounting plate 11b of a bracket 11, and the switch body 72 is actuated through action of the stamping lever body 32 through a brake pad 76, actuator rod 73, and a spring 74. Here the lever body 32 makes overstroke for a distance corresponding to deformation of damper to cause the switch pad 76 to collide the mounting member 75 etc., but no failure is generated in itself and other members contacting because the switch pad 76 is formed in short strips from a material with ample resilience. Thus breakage around the warning switch can be prevented, and accordingly deengagement shock can be relieved through fitting of a damper for stopping the stamping type lever with large deformation. |
